• Ukrainian Ice Dance Champion of 1975 (Ukrainian Championship).

• A multiple-time participant in the Championships of the Soviet Union, the USSR Cup, the "Spartak" Trade Unions competitions, and the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the Soviet Union.

• Won 9th place in the Soviet Union and 6th place at the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the Soviet Union.

• Holds two specialized higher education degrees: from the GITIS (State Institute of Theatrical Art) in Moscow, in the Ballet Master department, and from the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports in Kyiv.

• During his work in Ukraine, he trained four Masters of Sports (a distinguished athletic title), guiding them from beginner level to becoming prize-winners at junior-level championships of the Soviet Union for girls and boys.

• His students now work successfully as figure skating coaches all over the world: in the United States of America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

I'm Yuriy Mikheyev, a former National Champion of Ukraine and proud member of both the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and the Professional Skaters Association (PSA).

With decades of experience in competitive figure skating and coaching,

I am dedicated to helping skaters of all ages and abilities reach their full potential. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps on the ice or an advanced competitor preparing for nationals, I provide personalized instruction tailored to your unique goals. My comprehensive approach covers everything from basic skating fundamentals to advanced competitive techniques.

My coaching philosophy centers on developing strong fundamentals while fostering a love for the sport. I work with each student to create personalized training programs that address their unique strengths and areas for improvement.
